KANSAS CITY ART WALK SEPTEMBER 2008
Featuring concepts by J. M. Porters. The display
showcase fish "swimming" one block upstream on Main Street in Kansas City, Mo. These original fish sculptures, either in metal, stone, glass or lucite symbolize the strength and determination of swimming upstream - the same tenacity and persistence of someone who chooses to start life anew. The fish, some as long as 48 inches, will be "swimming" between large leaf sculptures up to 5 feet tall. The fish and leaves can be placed indoors or outdoors, as a group or individually.

Thank you for making our first Kansas City Art Walk a success. With your help we were able to provide winter supplies, including sleeping bags, long johns, witer jackets and more. We hope the Art Walk increased awareness of both area homeless and the benefits of dealing with the resulting issues on a preventive basis. We could not have done it without your support.
Our sincere thanks to all your supports.
